Great service, friendly team. Saved us really as this was the only place to do a repair straight away without booking for another day. Would recommend to anyone!

Great professional work carried out here. Very quick turnaround, leave the car and just collect after 1 day, they do it all, remove wheels and tyres, refurb and powder coat wheels to any colour you like! Then they refit wheels and tyres, fully balanced too! just awesome

This isn't going to be a going good review I'm afraid, this is my experience of 'Pro Alloys'.Early summer 2016 I had my 911 997 wheels refurbished by these guys, i'd just bought the car and the wheels were in need of attention and thought I'd give this local company in Melksham a go, I know a little about powder coating and know that it is a durable tough coating that should last many years, I have used this coating on many motorcycle projects.Once the work was completed I collected the car and was initially happy with how the wheels looked, I'd gone for a silver powder very similar to the standard finish with a clear coat on top, unfortunately later that day I did find a couple of runs ( too much powder which ran when in the oven being baked) and a few misses ( not enough powder applied) causing a grainy finish - admittedly I should have voiced my concerns with the company but just thought I was maybe being a bit picky so said nothing (lesson learnt).Fast forward to last month, cleaning the car I found that most of the clear coat has lifted and is flaking off in big sheets, now as the car has only done just over 5000 miles in that time, never sees winter or road salt and lives in a nice dry garage and is immaculately kept, I felt that there has clearly been an error in application, it's obvious that the clear did not adhere to the base coat correctly, I've notified 'Pro Alloys' who have said that it was too long ago and they are not interested in re-doing them for me...I'm very disappointed, powder coating should give years of service, even if the car was a daily driver I would not expect to see this even after nearly 3 years. They took over 6 months to paint my centre caps, never replied to emails and trying to speak to the boss is like trying to get hold of the Scarlet Pimpernell - apparently I'll be getting an 'Official' email from the Boss stating why they aren't prepared to entertain my issue - I won't hold my breath eh fellas.I would have accepted a discounted rate to get my wheels redone but apparently this is an avenue they aren't willing to explore either. So in short, yes you'll probably get a reasonable job done, maybe even an excellent job done, but on occasion there will be people who have this same experience and because the don't know much about paints and powder coating will accept that this is normal - it's not normal. End of.I think these guys are cheaper the other places, but in my experience you get what you pay for, and my wheels clearly did not go through a quality control process because if they did then the runs and misses would have been redone, my van wheels are powder coated, 5 years old and bar stone chips they have not flaked and still look good and it's a daily driver come winter, summer, rain or shine.Disappointing experience, not recommended.

I took my wheel to pro alloys for welding and a spot on job they did too. The only quarlm was they scratched off some paint and lacquer in a couple of places. I got a few excuses about how that's not their standard, fair enough but that's not really the point. They repainted the wheel and I collected it. Got home and realised they centre cap was missing. Emailed and was promised on 4 occasions that it would be posted or delivered in hand. Nothing has appeared yet.The work they do is outstanding, it just seems there's some miscommunication/lack of organisation going on. There were claims of the cap being posted in my letter box, but apparently its too hard to find. So i bought a new one myself, from Mercedes.

I was recommended to use Pro Alloys in Melksham by Wakefields Accident Repair in Warminster after stupidly hitting my brand new Mini wheel on a high kerb. Due to the worry of a repair not looking perfect I was initially going to purchase a whole new wheel but Im so glad I didnt because iv just collected my black diamond cut JCW wheel and its honestly like brand new!! They have done an amazing job and all for a very reasonable price (including a 10 a day courtesy car!) Of course I hope to not be seeing you again but if any more wheel disasters happen i wont hesitate to call you! Thank you again :)
