I turned up at his door with a small paint problem, even though he said it wasn't his normal bread and butter work, he gave us a quote. This was in the form of several outcomes from reducing, fine repair, failure which is always an option, to a full respray of the area repairing everything. Booked us in for that Monday, took it in at 9am, done by 11.48am.What he had managed was a 7 out of 10 job which was more than l could have hoped for. Cost was a reasonable 108.00 l was left with 1 chip l could only see because l knew it was there. If he risked going any further it would have been a 453.00 job for 3 chips and a few handle scratches. So from my visit l can conclude this. The owner is a fair man, with great talent, polite and has his customers intrests at heart. I was pushing for the respray, but het talked me down to trying a recovery method... Even getting rid of a dent l hadn't noticed as he had a pannel guy visiting and gave us a discount. I have told you my story because it speaks volumes about the owner. From this point on this man is my paint guy. I suggest if you live in the Melksham area you pay him a visit before booking a home visit by a mobile service say. ;) you will be treated better, and told the true options. With this said, be nice to the owner he is only one man. I just happened to catch him on his morning break. Now l know more about his company l will call.
